Coming to your first support meeting can be scary and extremely difficult.  All of the survivors in the room felt that way when they first came.  No one is ever made to speak or share.  Our goal in the meeting is to provide a safe place.  Just coming to listen and sit in the room with those who have suffered murder's aftermath can be helpful.  Each meeting is different and has a different topic or speaker so we suggest you give the meetings a few tries before deciding if it is for you.
